September 9th, 2008 - David Shapiro, Ph.D. forms a new DBA of Breakthrough Synergies in Los Angeles, for which he also obtained a Beverly Hills business license, and a resellers permit.  He is awarded the exclusive Distributorship for Alpha Stim in Beverly Hills, Westwood, Santa Monica, Malibu, Venice, Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Irvine, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Calsbad, Studio City, and Tuluca Lake.  He is actively pursuing relatioships with companies that market technology based solutions for overwhelming depression, anxiety, insomnia, pain, and difficulties concentrating.  Breakthrough Synergies has begun using these technologies in our own treatment environment but also will work at educating and distributing to other clinicians who may benefit from adding such resources to their services.

October 10, 2008 - Breakthrough Synergies launches www.getcalm.net, an online venue for connecting individuals with resources for managing their emotions, including alpha-stim, healing rythms biofeedback, and an array of self-help books and workbooks.
